TVMusic Network remembers Christine McVie of the band Fleetwood Mac who passed away at the age of 79.

The singer-songwriter wrote some of the band’s biggest hits “Little Lies,” “Everywhere,” “Don’t Stop,” and “Say You Love Me.”

“We were so lucky to have a life with her,” band members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks said in a statement. “Individually and together, we cherished Christine deeply and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. She will be so very missed.”

Stevie Nicks, who has said McVie was her best friend, issued a tribute to her fellow bandmate on Twitter.
