“Saturday Night Live” continued its countdown to the holidays with a new live episode of the show hosted by Steve Martin and Martin Short with Brandi Carlile as musical guest.

The duo was joined by their “Only Murders in the Building co-star Selena Gomez for a few of bits, including the monologue. They also performed a sketch spoof of “Father of the Bride” with the movie’s co-star Kieran Culkin.

Grammy winner Brandi Carlile was the musical guest. During the show, Carlile performed “The Story” and “You and Me On The Rock” with Lucius.

Carlile previously appeared on “Saturday Night Live” last year.

Next week, SNL closes out 2022 on December 17 with host Austin Butler and musical guest Lizzo.
