The Hollywood Museum and Donelle Dadigan (Founder/President) announced their Daytime TV History Exhibit, opening to coincide with the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. With the approval of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), this event was the unofficial Nominee pre-reception for the upcoming Daytime and Children & Family Emmy Awards held on December 13.
Just some of the shows participating with contributions received to date include costumes, props, scripts, and Emmys from “The Young & the Restless,” “The Bold & the Beautiful,” “Days of Our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “After Forever,” and “The Bay.” Other programs represented included Court Room Dramas, Children’s Programming, Talk Shows, Game Shows, Animation, and Entertainment News, etc, as well as contributions from this year’s Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement recipients, Maury Povich and Susan Lucci.
Attending the event were Emmy nominees, celebrity exhibit contributors, and daytime stars.
