Check out our conversation with series star Raegan Revord.  The young actress who grew up on screen shares her favorite moments on the show and working with the cast including Annie Potts (Meemaw). The series is scheduled to begin production for the fall 2024 – 2025 season. “Young Sheldon” airs Thursdays on CBS. The finale episode of “Young Sheldon” will air May 16 for special back-to-back episodes.

TVMusic Network: Congratulations on the series. I was just telling Ian you’ve grown up on the show. How does it feel to be on a show that lasted more than 100 episodes? You have grown as a person along with your character?

Raegan Revord: It it’s honestly such an honor and such a blessing. I never thought that when I was 6 years old seeing myself in some small commercial that I would get to this point and meet this family. I’m so utterly grateful whatever forces in the universe made this happen. I love my cast I love my crew and they’re all I’m going to annoy them even whenever we’re done. I’m going to text them all and be like ‘hey guys you want to do something. I miss you.’ We’re forever going to be family even after we end.

TVMusic Network: My favorite moment on the show was when Missy was learning to drive with her dad.

Raegan Revord: That was so much fun.

TVMusic Network: What was your favorite moment?

Raegan Revord: My favorite moment? I have two. One is whenever Missy tackles a boy on the baseball field. That was so fun, so much fun. I got to do my own kind of stunts and I always wanted. I watch Marvel movies and see them do their stunts that was so much fun. And also the tornado episode, whenever one of us was laying in the mud. That was so much fun to film. Lance and I got to hang out all day and we kind of bonded through trauma. We were just lying in the cold in the mud and just talking. It was so much fun.

TVMusic Network: That’s amazing. Was there anything that you wanted to take from the set?

Raegan Revord: There’s a tapestry in my room that’s behind the bed, the black and purple one. I love it. I’m taking it and I’m running with it. It’s mine.

TVMusic Network: My sister told me to ask you about the posters in Missy’s room – of all the boy bands, they’re cute.

Raegan Revord: They’re amazing. The last season I have been in love with Missy’s room. Everything in there is amazing.

TVMusic Network: Is there any music you are listening to right now?

Raegan Revord: Hmmm. Music I’m listening to. Good question. I am the biggest fan of Hozier.

TVMusic Network: Nice

Raegan Revord: I love him so much. He just released a new EP and I lost my mind.

TVMusic Network: He has a great voice.

Raegan Revord: “Empire Now” is one of the best songs and also Girl in Red. I love Girl in Red. Those are my Top two right now.

TVMusic Network: Do you think Missy will visit Georgie in his new home in the new series?

Raegan Revord: I hope so. I really hope so. We don’t have any of the scripts haven’t been told anything about what’s going to happen, but I really hope so. It would be a lot of fun.

TVMusic Network: It was so nice to talk to you.

Raegan Revord: It was nice to talk to you too. Thank you so much.
