LA Comic Con 2024 took place over the weekend where over 125, 000 fans got an opportunity to meet the cast members from “Back to The Future,” including Michael J. Fox, “The Addams Family” 1991 movie with Anjelica Huston, and Christina Ricci, FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows” with Harvey Guillen and Kristen Schaall, and more.

Star Wars” was well represented as Rosario Dawson of “Ashoka,” Giancarlo Esposito, Ming-Na Wen, Emily Swallow, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” as they all took the Main Stage in separate panels throughout the weekend.

The Mandalorian cast shared their favorite moments of the show, now streaming its third season on Disney+. “For me, it’s just being on it,” Lee said as he sat on the panel wearing a [executive producer] Dave Filoni T-Shirt. “There’s something really special about that show, especially when you’ve been a fan for as long as I have. I’ve been a fan since I was 5 years old, so this really is a dream come true – to be able to… be up here even on the stage with these fantastic actors and to play in the universe that I grew up loving. The ride has been spectacular and being up here and seeing this sea of fans out there. You guys, this is so incredible. Thank you so much for showing up and showing your love we appreciate that. But yeah, just being on the show.”

One of the events biggest gets included photo opps with “Star Wars” legends Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christiansen aka Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anikin Skywalker, on the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy.

McGregor later hit the Main Stage for a special spotlight were the Hollywood Walk of Fame recipient walked about his “Star Wars,” including working with co-stars Christensen and Vivien Lyra Blair who plays Leia in the Disney Plus series “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

Fans also had opportunities to learn about the business of anime, podcasting, scriptwriting, and more with specials about behind the scenes on Emmy-nominated shows “Only Murders in the Building,” and “Loki.”

The 3-day event had all the usuals of a comic convention with fans being able to shop for exclusive merchandise to add to their collections and to dress as their favorite characters in creative cosplay contests.

The event wraps up on Sunday, October 6, 2024 with the next year’s convention announced for September 26 – 28, 2025.
