The Hollywood Museum Debuts Car Exhibit Features Cars from ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ Scooby Doo’ and “Herbie’
The Hollywood Museum debuted an all-new exhibit featuring classic cars from iconic show “Dukes of Hazzard,” “Herbie: Fully Loaded,” and “Scooby Doo.” This unique exhibit, currently on display, features original screen used props, costumes, memorabilia from “Dukes of Hazzard,” “Scooby Doo,’ and “Herbie: Fully Loaded” with the iconic cars “The General Lee” from the “Dukes of Hazzard” Reunion movies from 1997 and 2000 and the hit television series from 1979 thru 1985, starring John Schneider, Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat. The trio attended the unveiling on the exhibit’s opening night. General Lee also appeared in the “Dukes of Hazzard” feature film starring Jessica Simpson.
The exhibit features “The Mystery Machine” from the fan- favorite animated series Scooby Doo, airing on tv from 1969 to 1976 starring the voice of Casey Kasem as Shaggy with the live action films from 2002 and 2004 starring the voice of Scott Innes as Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo, and the widow of Casey Kasem who will be with us in person, the Mystery Machine is brought to life in the live action film in vivid color!
And also showcased as part of this exhibit is “Herbie The Love Bug” from the 2005 Disney Film “Herbie Fully Loaded” starring Lyndsay Lohan. This official Love Bug in the exhibit was used by Disney to promote the film and will be on display with Herbie’s screen used Cape when Herbie is seen in a bull fight.
