“The Voice” ends with its first ever winner in its “The Voice: Battle of Champions” season. Alexia Jayy, who was on Team Adam, was crowned the winner of the season that saw Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine all returning to the competition as superstar coaches.

The Season 29 runners-up were Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara, who earned the second most votes; Team Legend’s Lucas West, who was third; and Mikenley Brown, who came in fourth.

Jayy caught the attention of all three coaches during her blind audition, when her performance of “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” landed her a Three Chair Turn. But she ultimately chose Adam. He and Jayy were fated to work together. Plus Jayy’s son Matthew, who appeared with her during her audition. When Matthew was asked who his favorite artist, he said Maroon 5, Adam Levine’s band.
The win marks Levine’s fourth time winning as coach and his support for Jayy was evident by this selection of songs for her to sing in the final stages in the competition.
