“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is headed to Cannes. The movie will have its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival at the Grand Théâtre Lumière at the Palais des Festivals on Wednesday, May 15th. The movie stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke and is directed by George Miller.
“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is part of the Mad Max franchise. It tells the origin story of Furiosa, the new saga-heroine played by Charlize Theron in “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Anya Taylor-Joy plays the young Furiosa, trying to return home despite numerous hostile armed gangs.
