Blair Underwood is joining the cast of the FOX medical series “Doc.”  He will play Dr. Ben Grant, a world-class trauma and cardiothoracic surgeon with an ego that somehow outpaces even his resume. A once-in-a-generation talent with the swagger to match, he doesn’t just save lives — he owns the OR. Impossibly magnetic and even more confident, he’s never not been the smartest person in the room… until he meets Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker). Tim Daily and Tea Leoni – Newlyweds

After  their staring roles in the CBS series “Madam Secretary,” the pair return in the comedy “Newlyweds.” A later-in-life love story about a free-spirited woman and a buttoned-up professor who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship. The series stars Téa Leoni and Tim Daly with Jamie Lee Curtis as a recurring guest star.

Shemar Moore – S.W.A.T. Exiles

Shemar Moore is back in a reboot of his long-running role as Hondo on S.W.A.T.” The series, called “S.W.A.T. Exiles” will premiere on Starz in September 25.  “After a high-profile mission goes sideways, Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson is pulled out of forced retirement to lead a last-chance experimental S.W.A.T. unit made up of untested, unpredictable young recruits. Hondo must bridge a generational divide, navigate clashing personalities, and turn a squad of outsiders into a team capable of protecting the city and saving the program that made him who he is.”

Michael Colter and Renee Elise Goldsberry – Cupertino

Michael Colter returns to TV after starring in “Evil” and is joined by Renee Elise Goldsberry from “Girls 4Ever” to star in CUPERTINO. The series is described as a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley that follows a lawyer (Mike Colter) who is being cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with another recently fired attorney (Rachel Keller) to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.

Jason Sudekis – Ted Lasso

Jason Sudekis returns as Ted Lasso with Season 4 premiering on Apple TV on August 5. This time Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.

“Dwayne and Whitley Forever!” That phrase turned out to be true as the classic sitcom “A Different World” is getting a reboot on Netflix. In the sequel, we head back to Hillman College to follow Deborah Wayne, the youngest daughter of Dwayne Wayne (Hardison) and Whitley Gilbert (Guy), as she begins her freshman year at her parents’ HBCU alma mater and works to step out from their shadow to build her own identity. The show’s original cast will appear in supporting roles.

Original series director Debbie Allen (Fame, Grey’s Anatomy) — who served as producer for 122 episodes and directed 83 of the original run — is returning as executive producer and will direct the reboot’s premiere episode.

Kyle Chandler – Lanterns

“Lanterns” marks Kyle Chandler’s return to TV. Premiering on August on HBO Max, “Lanterns” follows new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery with cosmic ties as they investigate a murder in the American heartland. Aaron Pierre also stars.

Peter Krause returns to Television this fall, after a sad “9-1-1” exit, to star in NBC’s “Line of Fire.” A family of law enforcement agents bridges personal differences and crosses professional boundaries as they tackle cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice. After a seemingly cut-and-dry case turns into a deadly conspiracy, they must use the expertise from a lifetime of protecting civilians and politicians to protect one another and bring the killer to justice … even if it means betraying their sworn code.

Queen Latifah’s turn in the popular series “The Equalizer” might be over but the Queen is returning to her musical roots as the newest coach on “The Voice.” The new season starts in September.

Kelly’s Emmy-winning “The Kelly Clarkson Show” s ending but we haven’t seen the last of the Grammy and Emmy winner. Clarkson is back for another season as a coach on “The Voice.” The 3 time “The Voice” champ takes on Queen Latifah, new coach Riley Green, and Adam Levine.

David Boreanaz – The Rockford Files

David Boreanaz stars in “The Rockford Files” reboot on NBC. A contemporary update on the classic series of the same name. Newly paroled after doing time for a crime he didn’t commit, James Rockford returns to his life as a private investigator using his charm and wit to solve cases around Los Angeles. It doesn’t take long for his quest for legitimacy to land him squarely in the crosshairs of both local police and organized crime.

Hugh Laurie and Amy Poehler

The Emmy favorites star in the upcoming Peacock series “Dig.”  All episodes will premiere Monday, November  23 on Peacock.  “Dig” follows a team of dedicated archaeologists (and less-dedicated college students) spend their summer working on a dig site in Greece. Their discovery of a rare artifact sends them on the adventure of a lifetime.
