The Prime-time Emmy nominations were announced today. Comedies “Glee” and “Modern Family” dominate the awards with nominations for most of the featured cast. “Lost” was honored in it’s final season with nominations for their featured cast as well.
The critically acclaimed “Friday Night Lights” saw nominations for their leads, actors Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton. “I’m so grateful. It really feels like a gift,” Britton said upon learning of her nomination. “We’re about to wrap the show after 5 seasons, so this is especially wonderful and so unexpected. And I’m thrilled for my TV husband, Kyle too… It really feels like an acknowledgment of the show.”
