2010 Kennedy Center Honorees: Oprah, Paul McCartney, Merle Haggard, Bill T. Jones


The 33rd Annual Kennedy Center ceremony once again honored the finest in arts including singer and songwriter Merle Haggard; composer and lyricist Jerry Herman; dancer, choreographer and director Bill T. Jones; songwriter and musician Paul McCartney; and producer, television host and actress Oprah Winfrey.

On hand to salute the artists were President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama,Carol Channing, Chita Rivera, Miranda Cosgrove, Kris Kristofferson, James Taylor, No Doubt Matthew Morrison, Christine Ebersole, Christine Baranski, Sutton Foster, Brad Paisley, Julia Roberts, Alec Baldwin, Steven Tyler, Chris Rock, Jennifer Hudson, John Travolta, Barbara Walters, Vince Gill, Kid Rock, Claire Danes and more.
