The Season 10 winner of “The Voice” was crowned at the finale. Alisan Porter was the winner making her coach Christina Aguilera the first female coach to win the show. The other finalists were Team Adam Levine’s Laith Al-Saadi, Team Blake Shelton’s Adam Wakefield, and Team Pharrell Williams’ Hannah Huston.
The finalists each performed a duet with major recording artists. Hannah duet was with former The Voice coach Cee Lo Green, Alisan performed Jennifer Nettles and Alisan performed Nettles’s latest single, “Unlove You.” Alison Krauss and Adam performed “Willin’” originally done by Little Feat and Joe Walsh performed his song “Rocky Mountain Way” with Laith.
The finalists each did a bring back performance where they bought back fellow contestants from this season for a group number.
Performers included : Ariana Grande, Little Big Town, Blake Shelton, Sia and ZAYN. Ariana Grande also did a duet with Christina. Grande performed “Into You”. Little Big Town performed “One of Those Days.” Sia performed “Cheap Thrills. Zayn performed “Like I Would” and coach Blake Shelton performed “She’s Got a Way With Word”.
Porter, 34 has been in the business she she was child. She won the show “Star Search” at the age of 5. Then went on to star in the movie “Curly Sue” at the age of 10 in 1987. She then went on to do theater on Broadway, then returning back to Los Angeles trying to make it back in the music business. She has been writing music and doing music projects since recovering from substance abuse, getting married and having children.
