Season 16 of “So You Think You Can Dance” has come to a close.

Bailey Munoz, an 18, year-old dancer from Las Vegas, won the title of America’s favorite dancer during the season finale on September 16. Munoz won $250,000 in cash and will appear on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine.

Munoz, a hip-hop /BBoy beat finalists Mariah Russell (second place), Gino Cosculluela (third) and Sophie Pittman (fourth). This makes the first time a BBoy has won the show. Muñoz, also known as BailRok, is no stranger to the television spotlight. Prior to competing “So You Think You Can Dance,” he made it to the semifinals of “America’s Got Talent” in 2010 as part of a dance duo called “Future Funk” with Miles Brown. Brown went on to star on the TV Show “Black-ish”.

TV Music Network was on hand at the show and spoke with the finalists and the judges backstage after the show.
