“Riverdale,” the CW’s hit freshman show is getting an early renewal. The series which is based on characters from The Archie Comics will return for the 2017-18 season.
“Riverdale” is executive produced by Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”) and stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge and Mädchen Amick as Alice Cooper.
