The new cast for “Dancing with the Stars” was announced this morning on “Good Morning America” live.
Season 25 for the show returns on Monday, September 18 at 8:00 p.m. with a sensational two-hour season premiere, then on Tuesday, September 19 with the premiere of “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” at 9:00 p.m.
The competition begins with an all-new cast of celebrities who will be paired up with the show’s pro dancers and brave the dance floor for the very first time. Each week these celebrities will leave their comfort zones and endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master new dance styles and technical choreography to perform a dance, which will be judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts as well as voted upon by viewers. In the end, only one star will rise above the rest to be crowned champion and win the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
Dancing this season are Vanessa Lachey, Victoria Arlen, Terrell Owens, Sasha Pieterse, Nikki Bella, Nick Lachey, Lindsey Stirling, Jordan Fisher, Frankie Muniz, Drew Scott, Derek Fisher, Debbie Gibson and Barbara Corcoran.
Dancing favorites Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke return as pros after sitting out a few seasons. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews return as host and co-host.
