“Bob Hearts Abishola” is getting serious this week when the Nigerian nurse’s husband returns to Detriot in an all-new episode on Monday, January 18 on CBS. When Abishola’s husband Tayo (Dayo Ade) makes a surprise visit, Bob (Billy Cardell) sees this as a perfect opportunity for Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku) to ask for a divorce while Abishola is surprised when past feelings for her husband come up.
“We delve into the emotional aspect of Abishola’s relationship with her ex-husband,” Olowofoyeku said in an interview with CBS News. “This is a dude she hasn’t seen in eight years and she’s about to get married to someone else and he shows up. You have to watch obviously to see how things turn out. As you can imagine, it’s not a black and white situation.”
