The 6th Annual Black Music Honors special is will air in national broadcast syndication in various markets. Viewers can see the exciting televised special in markets such as Washington DC on Sunday at 12:30pm ET on ZNWS (ABC), in Baltimore on Saturday at 3:30pm ET on WBFF (FOX), in Dallas-Fort Worth on Sunday at 12:00pm CT on KTXA (IND), in Pittsburgh on Saturday at 2:00pm ET WPGH (FOX) and Sunday at 1:00pm ET WPNT (MNT), among others. Emmy® Award-winning talk show host, comedienne and author Loni Love hosted the two-hour special that honored artists and musicians who have influenced and made significant contributions to American music.

The BMH honorees: Grammy® Award-nominated R&B legend Angie Stone (Soul Music Icon Award); Grammy® Award-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Ginuwine (Urban Music Icon Award); Multiple Stellar Award-winning and Grammy® Award-nominated gospel vocalist Marvin Sapp (Gospel Music Icon Award), and Grammy® Award-winning jazz virtuoso, Ramsey Lewis (Legends Award). CEO Henry P. Hicks III of The National Museum of African American Music accepted the Legacy Award.
