The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood celebrated her birthday with a special house party on the CBS talk show. Strutting onto the stage in a fitted purple dress and high heels, host Sheryl Underwood dances with her fellow co-hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, and Jerry O’Connell. R & B sensations Bell Biv DeVoe performed as the house band at “Sheryl’s Ultimate Surprise House Party,” singing their classic hits “Poison,” “Dope!” and “When I See You Smile Again.”
“This is my birthday body,” the Emmy winner said of the clingy purple dress she wore on the show. “As you all know, I’ve lost 95 pounds and I’ve made significant life changes. I was not healthy, and I want to live a long, long time and I want to be sitting on this stage a long, long time. So, I worked hard with my doctors. I did what I needed to do, and I just wanted to be able to put on a very stylish, but clingy dress to symbolize and the work that I put in. Now I’m about to do something that I have never done on this show…I haven’t done in about 25 to 30 years. I’m about to cross my legs.”
Also joining Sheryl to celebrate her birthday was the legendary rap group Kid n’ Play.
“The Talk” airs weekdays at 2pm ET, 1pm PT on CBS and on Paramount+.
