TVMusic Network remembers actress Jacklyn Zeman from the long-running soap “General Hospital” who passed away after a short battle with cancer. The Emmy-nominated actor played Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Spencer on the Emmy-winning soap for 45 years. “General Hospital” celebrates its 60th anniversary on April 1.
General Hospital’s executive producer, Frank Valentini announced the news of Zeman’s death on social media.

Zeman first joined the cast of “General Hospital” in 1977 and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy four times for her role in the soap opera and once for playing Sofia Madison in “The Bay.”
