“American Idol” crowned its Season 21 winner when Hawaii native Iam Tongi was just announced as the Next American Idol making him the first Polynesian winner in the show’s 21-year history.
For runner-up Megan Danielle and third-place finisher Colin Stough, the rewards are just as fruitful. The duo, along with Tongi worked with some of the industry’s top producers to record their first singles.
Stough, a native of Amory MS, headed to the Sound Factory to record “I Still Talk to Jesus,” his single out now. The single was written by American Idol alum Franciso Martin and Hank Compton. Listen to the single below.
Danielle’s single “Dream Girl“ was written by American Idol alum Laci Kaye Booth and Logan Wall. The song is a reflection of who she is, a Christian singer and songwriter who wants to share the love of Jesus. https://youtu.be/n3hbIhlSbac
