‘The Masked Singer’: Sir Lion Unmasked! Find out which celebrity went home!

On tonight’s “The Masked Singer” the show welcomed the incognito celebrities celebrating some of our favorite TV shows with TV theme night. The panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny Mccarthy, Ken Jeoung and Rita Ora joined Nick Cannon all dressed up as characters from Gilligan’s Island. Robin as The Skipper, Jenny as Ginger, Rita as Mary Ann, Ken as Gillian and Nick as Mr. Howell. There were also visits from Jill Whelan from “The Love Boat” and Heidi and Spencer from “The Hills” helping pass out clues.

Performing this week were Group C contestants Clock, Lizard, Poodle Moth and new wild card contestant Sir Lion.

The Clock performed the theme from “Good Times.” Her clues were that despite multiple marriages that didn’t work out, she has two children and a reference to Detroit and also a mention of “The Love Boat.”

Robin guessed Stephanie Mills, Jenny – Debbie Allen and Ken said Janet Jackson to boos from the audience and then went quickly back to last week’s guess of Diana Ross.

Poodle Moth was up next. She said that her dad left; She then wrote a letter to her dad and later wrote one to herself. Also, clues were a cowboy hat, a book with an American flag, and the Grand Old Opry. Poodle Moth sang “Unwritten” the theme song from “The Hills.” Heidi and Spencer from “The Hills” made a guest appearance and introduced the Gilmore Girls theme song. Poodle Moth said that she has a connection to Gilmore Girls and that the show hits close to home.

Guesses were, Ken – Melissa McCarthy (Jenny shut the guess down as Melissa is her cousin, lol), Jenny guessed Lauren Graham while Robin said Connie Britton.

Lizard performed next. His clues were that he almost became an animator, recognizable on the planet, his dad was surprised that he gave it up. He also said he helped a dog reach a bigger audience. Sir Lion sang the “Scooby Doo” Theme Song.

Ken guessed Micheal Bivens, Jenny said Ray J because he’s Snoop Dogg’s cousin. Rita and Robin were both united in guessing
Rita and Robin – in Snow Dogs guessed Sisqo.

Last up was a last minute Wild Card — Sir Lion (cool costume). His clues were he’s part of a famous family, raffle tickets, he said he was an anchor; He’s talked from everyone from Tom Cruise to Tom Hanks ans also mentioned 30 Rock. He sang “Love and Marriage” which is the theme song from “Married with Children.”

Panelists guesses were Robin – Anderson Cooper, Ken said Ryan Seacrest, Rita guessed Andy Cohen and Jenny said Seth Meyers.

At the end of the night, Sir Lion was sent home. The Lion turned out to be “Extra” host Billy Bush. Moving on the next round were Clock, Poodle Moth and Lizard who won the battle over Sir Lion.

Next week, the celebrities take on Shower Anthems Night and open the show with a group performance and then sing songs that are best sung at full volume in the shower.

The Masked Singer” airs Wednesday, April 3 at 8 p.m./7c on FOX.
