‘The Masked Singer’: Spaghetti and Meatballs Unmasked! Find out which celebrity went home!

The contest continued on “The Masked Singer” as the show honored legendary singer/songwriter Billy Joel for “Billy Joel Night.” The hit FOX show honored the New York native with the contestants singing his songs, including panelist Robin Thicke who sang a rendition of Joel’s “My Life.”

After four new contestants took the stage as Group C hit the stage for their chance to be crowned the champion for Season 11. Competing were Lizard, Poodle Moth, Clock, and Spaghetti and Meatballs to see who would advance to the next round for a chance to sing again in front of panelists Thicke, Ken Jeoung, Rita Ora and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and host Nick Cannon.

Poodle Moth was up first and sang “Just the way You Are.” Her clues from her video package were: she was a songwriter, a cowboy hat, an American flag on a journal and a Butterfly. She also performed at the Grand Ole Opry. Robin guessed Trisha Yearwood, Rita said Wynonna Judd, and Ken said Rita Wilson.

Next up was Clock who sang “Piano Man.” The clues were timeless, disco era, singing from dusk till dawn, frozen in time, world performance and performed for a president. The last clue was “Vienna.” Robin guessed Evelyn Champagne King, Ken guessed Diana Ross and Jenny said Anita Baker.

Next up in Group C was Spaghetti and Meatballs who sang “Only the Good Die Young.” The clue package was ” I wear many hats, chef, started on finance, he went into a different industry (a car clue was shown). He was also on a hit show. The last clue was a pizza with the clue “show time” on it. Rita said Gordan Ramsay, Jenney said Guy Ferrari, Ken guessed Bobby Flay, and Robin said Stanley Tucci.

Last up was Lizard who sang “Uptown Girl.” Clues were a sports car, was perceived as a ladies man, bad boy, TMS crab and turned out to be cool dad. Billboards and a taxi. Jenny said a member of New Edition and went down the list of members from Ricky Bell, Johnny Gill, Michael Bevins and Ralph Tresvant. Robin guessed Ray J.

At the end of the night, Lizard advanced to the next round and Spaghetti and Meatballs was sent home. Spaghetti and Meatballs turned out to be “Master Chef” and “Master Chef Junior” judge Joe Bastianich.

Season 11 of “The Masked Singer” is going strong with all-new theme nights, every Wednesday, (8:00-9:00 PM ET) on FOX. Superstar Rita Ora joins Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Robin Thicke at the panelists’ desk this season, alongside host Nick Cannon. Season 11 will introduce all-new themed episodes, including “The Wizard of Oz,” in celebration of the 85th anniversary of the classic film, “TRANSFORMERS,” as the iconic brand celebrates its 40th anniversary, and special musical anthology episodes including “Billy Joel Night” and “Queen Night.” Additional themes include “Girl Groups,” “Soundtrack of my Life,” “TV Theme Night,” and “Shower Anthems.” The themes will be weaved throughout the performers’ song selections, costumes, celebrity guests, set design…and may even provide clues as to WHO is under the mask! Sixteen all-new celebrity singers will embrace the masked madness, disguised under amazingly intricate new costumes including “Gumball,” “Lizard,” “Ugly Sweater,” “Goldfish,” “Starfish,” “Book,” and more – including three new wildcards!
