“African Giants,” directed and written by Omar S. Kamara, is set for a 1-week theatrical run at the Laemmle Theatres in Los Angeles in August. On August 21 and August 22, after the screenings, there will be two Q&A’s with special guest moderators.

Over a weekend visit in Los Angeles, two first-generation Sierra Leonean American brothers navigate the changing dynamics of brotherhood after a surprise announcement.
