Daytime Emmy Update: Daytime Gives Back With Susan Lucci, Tony Geary and Kelly Monaco in Africa

(Press Release)–Some of Daytime TV’s biggest names- Montel Williams, Anthony Geary (“General Hospital”), Kelly Monaco (“General Hospital)” and Susan Lucci (“All My Children”), Christopher Massey (Nickelodeon’s  “Zoey 101”), Kyle Massey (Disney’s “Cory in the House”), Erik Estrada and Devon Werkheiser ((Nickelodeon’s “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”) – will travel to Kenya with Feed The Children, an international, non-profit  relief organization that feeds more than 100,000 children in Kenya’s slums every day.  The three stars will venture out into some of the world’s most impoverished cities to meet one on one with the people who live there – all in an effort to raise awareness of the desperate situation faced by Africa’s poor.  Part of this story will air as a segment entitled “Daytime Gives Back” during the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, airing Sunday, August 30th at 8:00p.m. ET/PT on the CW Television Network.  “All My Children” will also incorporate the trip in to their show, in a yet to be determined storyline involving Lucci’s character Erica Kane.
