General Hospital’s “Dante is Sonny’s Son” storyline escalated to a thrilling twist when Sonny shot Dante last week. In the storyline, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is an undercover cop assigned to infiltrate the Corinthos Mob Organization led by Sonny Cortinhos (Maurice Bernard). As Dante’s cover is blown and Sonny discovers he’s a cop, the mobster retaliates by shooting him. Unknown to both men, they are father and son. Sonny finds out he has another son as Dante fights for his life.
