'Star Trek': 45th anniversary with SCIENCE Channel's "Trek Nation" to air November 30th

In honor of the 45th anniversary of “Star Trek,” Science Channel and Rod Roddenberry, son of “Star Trek” creator, Gene Roddenberry to produce the upcoming documentary, “Trek Nation.” “Trek Nation” will air on Wednesday, November 30.

The movie follows Rod as he explores his family legacy and the crusade his father’s passion and curiosity for exploration. Through interviews with his most devoted fans, including George Lucas and J.J. Abrams, “Trek Nation” follows a son searching for the wisdom of his father.

The documentary shows the legion of fans inspired by Roddenberry’s work across the globe.
