The Style! network announced today that it will air the high- styled New York series “Gossip Girl” from the beginning. The series, set in the backdrop of New York and tells the story of Manhattan’s elite crowd, will air every Wednesday night beginning August 15th.
“We are confident that Style will provide a perfect off-net home for ‘Gossip Girl’ providing an excellent opportunity to to drive new viewers to the network,” Warner Bros. President Kim Werner said in a statement.
The show, based on the best selling young adult novels, “Gossip Girl” an all-knowing blogger who is determined to uncover and fuel every scandal possible, especially the rivalry and friendship between Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldolf.
The show will air it’s sixth and final season this fall on CW.
“Gossip Girl” stars Blake Lively, Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester.
