The primetime Emmy awards nominations were announced in Los Angeles. For the first time history was made when Netflix’s original series were awarded in the major categories. Nominated internet only series were “Arrested Development,” “House of Cards” and “Hemlock Grove.”
The awards will be handed out live on Sunday, September . Neil Patrick Harris will be the host and the show airs on CBS.
