Oscar Spotlight: actress June Squibb talks 'Nebraska', Oscar nomination

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival honored some of 2013’s standout performers with The 2014 Virtuosos Award. Honored for the night were Daniel Brühl (Rush), Adèle Exarchopoulos (Blue Is The Warmest Color), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), Brie Larson (Short Term 12), Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) and June Squibb (Nebraska).

Actress June Squibb, an Academy Award nominee this year, was honored for her breakthrough, scene stealing performance as Bruce Dern’s wife in “Nebraska.”

LA Music and TV Examinercaught up with Squibb before the ceremony and shared her thoughts about the award season and on working on “Nebraska.”
