NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara are husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in England, according to E! News. Wilson, who is the quarterback for the Superbowl champion Seattle Seahawks and the singer said “I Do’s” in front of fmaily and friends that included Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson.
The bride wore a white lace Roberto Cavalli gown, a simple veil and carried a bouquet of short-stemmed white roses.
The two began dating last year and became engaged earlier this year with Wilson announcing the impending nuptials on his Instagram page.
Social media seemed to be the choice for the announcement as both the bride and groom posted pictures from the event on their respective Instagram pages.
The couple managed to squeeze in the wedding with their busy schedules with Ciara having performed at the Essence Festival in New Orleans over the 4th of July holiday and Wilson prepping for the 2016 NFL season next month.
