FOX set to live stream beginning with ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

Fox is entering the live streaming digital business as they simulcast their programs. FOX will be offering viewers access to a simulcast of the network’s primetime entertainment programming via FOX.com and FOX NOW® for iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Apple TV and Google Chromecast. With this beta launch, FOX will be the only broadcast network to offer pay TV customers in all 210 television markets nationwide a live stream of its primetime entertainment programming. FOX will simulcast entertainment programming seven nights a week, as well as Saturdays during late-night.

With more than 25 million downloads and support for all of the Top 10 pay-TV providers in the U.S., live streaming on FOX.com and FOX NOW will be available to more than 98% of pay TV subscribers, representing 96 million homes.

Live streaming will debut tonight, Monday, July 11 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), with the first live performance episode of the hit dance competition series SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: THE NEXT GENERATION. Going forward, FOX will simulcast primetime entertainment programming every night, including WAYWARD PINES, broadcast’s No. 1 scripted series this summer; the hit cooking competition series MASTERCHEF; HOTEL HELL; HOME FREE; the FOX special TEEN CHOICE 2016 TM, airing Sunday, July 31 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed); and all of FOX’s series in the upcoming 2016-17 season. Live sports programming on FOX will continue to be available for streaming via FOX Sports GO.
