TV One has another highly anticipated drama coming to the network on Sunday, Spetember 4 called “Ringside.” The movie written by Russ Parr and stars Tyler Lepley as Jaxon Holley, an undefeated boxer who faces challenges had on as he prepares for the biggest fight of his career.
In “Ringside,” Jaxon is a fast-rising star in the tough world of professional boxing whose “street cred” and perceived worthiness to challenge his upcoming opponent – the current champion – are under fire due to his middle class upbringing and advanced education. As he trains for the title fight against defending champion Spencer “Timber” Collier played by Allen Maldonado does everything he can to take Jaxon off his game. During this busy time he meets Endira, a photographer who captures his heart while hiding a devastating secret.
Tequan Richmond, Jackie Long, Sevyn Streeter, Julissa Bermudez, Charlamagne Tha God, Kwame Patterson and Da’Vone McDonald round out the supporting cast.
