“The Young and the Restless” stars Justin Hartley (Adam) and Chrishell Stause (Bethany) are tying the knot. The actress took to social media to anounce the happy news and even showed off her stunning engagement ring on Instagram earlier this week. The groom-to-be’s proposal was the in most traditional sense.
“I got down on one knee,” Hartley tells TVMusic Network. “I got down on one knee, like I was supposed to. I think it was my right knee. Chrishell and I have sort of an inside joke, a sort of an inside thing in our relationship that I went back to that. I think she got a kick out of that. It was perfect. Chrishell and I are fortunate as actors to have a lot of down time where we can travel. we get to travel a lot. I thought let’s do this where we live.”
The couple have yet to set a date but Hartley imagines the nuptials will take place in about a year.
In addition to “The Young and the Restless,” airing on CBS, Hartley will star in the new drama “This Is Us” on NBC.
