Steve Harvey has a another hosting job on the horizon as ABC begins casting for a new reality competition series “Steve Harvey’s Funderdome” from producer Mark Burnett. “Steve Harvey’s Funderdome” will be a competition reality series where two contestants will go head-to-head to win over a live studio audience to fund their ideas, products or companies.
The series 13 episode first season will have the audience as the “customer” and they will voting to determine the winner. But, in each round, following the pitches and before Steve Harvey reveals the results of the crowds majority vote, the contestants will face a major dilemma: a contestant is allowed to cash out and walk away for a lesser amount. But if a contestant cashes out, they forgo the opportunity to win the whole cash prize for that round – a good move if they lost the crowd vote, but a bad move if they would have won it. Steve Harvey will provide colorful and surely hilarious commentary as host.
