The 2016 American Music Awards had it all, top performers, laughs, awkward moments and on top f all of that – rain. The weather didn’t cooperate with the elegant gowns to slay on the Red Carpet at the music awards where the winners are determined by their voting fans.
On Saturday, or AMA eve, all was sunny and clear but since rain was evident, a tent that was placed over the carpet that covered the LA Live courtyard in front of the Microsoft Theater where the awards were being held.
Many of the artists went straight from photos to the theater bypassing the carpet all together.
TVMusic Network managed to capture a few moments in spite of the rain-drenched carpet.
