CBS to premiere competition series ‘Hunted’ in January 2017

Have you ever wanted to see how you would survive as a fugitive? CBS’ new reality “Hunted” premiering in January gives you a chance. The network announced the show which challenges ordinary people to go on the run as fugitives and evade capture by an elite team of investigators pursuing them.

The series premieres January 22 and later moves to Wednesdays on Jan. 25, 2017, with a special two-hour episode, 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT.

Nine teams of two will go on a real-life manhunt as they attempt to stay ahead of  highly skilled investigators who combine state-of-the-art tracking methods with traditional tactics to pursue and catch them. A grand prize of $250,000 will be awarded to each team that successfully evades being caught for up to 28 days.

Information about the Fugitive teams and Command Center personnel will be announced shortly.

The series is based on the format of the UK show, now in its second season, which was created and produced by Shine TV Ltd.
