‘Prison Break’: a few minutes with the show’s executive producers (video)

Michael and Lincoln are back as FOX reboots its popular series “Prison Break” beginning Tuesday, April 4 on FOX. As fans remember Linc (Purcell) was falsely imprisoned in Illinois for an assassination attempt on a local politician.

His brother Michael was determined to get justice for Linc, deciding to do whatever it takes to free his brother, even if it means breaking him out of jail.

The journey led to an incredible four seasons of television. Now the series returns after seven years off the air. This time Michael is the one in trouble and Linc must work to free him. Getting Michael out of his current prison will not as simple breaking someone out of Fox River Penitentiary. Michael is in a foreign land so the obstacles and stakes are at an all-time high.

How did Michael get in prison? Wait, wasn’t Michael dead? How is he alive? How did Linc find him? All of these questions will be answered over the course of the nine-episode series.

TVMusic Network caught up with the show’s executive producers, Paul T. Scheuring, Michael Horowitz and Vaun Wilmott, to find out how the show came about. Check out the interview below.

“Prison Break” returns Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. on FOX.
