The Voice Top 12 contestants for Season 12 performed live on Monday, April 24. This is the first time the contestants performed for only the audiences votes as there are no more steals or saves from the coaches. The contestants performed one at a time and received feedback from guest mentor Shania Twain and coaches Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
On Tuesday, April 25, Troy Ramey and Mark Isaiah were the two contestants that received the lowest amount of votes. They both performed for the first save of the season. They performed live during the results show, and viewers voted on Twitter for their favorite. Mark Isaiah received the most votes was safe from elimination, while Troy Ramey was eliminated from the competition.
