‘Nashville’: check out a sneak peek, returning June 1 on CMT

“Nashville” returns tonight, Thursday, June 1 on CMT with new season regulars Kaitlin Doubleday and Rachel Bilson.

There’s a lot going on this season following Rayna’s (Connie Britton) tragic death. Her widow, Deacon (Charles Esten) and both of her daughters are trying very hard to deal with their superstar’s death. Daphne’s (Maisy Stella) spiral is most tragic, as the teen is showing signs of depression, missing classes and hanging out with the wrong crowd. How will Deacon help her but the more important question is, will she let him?

Maddie (Lennon Stella) has her own problems to deal with. Excited that her music is being heard on the radio, but worried for her boyfriend when they are stopped by police. Will something happen that to either one of them during the exchange?

Scarlett (Clare Bowen) is pregnant and has the awkward situation of not knowing who the father is, on-again-off-again love and music partner Gunner (Sam Palladino) or the director of the group’s music video.  How much more complicated can it get?

Will (Chris Carmack) is struggling to find answers about his new love, the billionaire who recently brought into his label, Highway 65 following Rayna’s death.

Lastly, it seems that rainy days are ahead for Juliette (Hayden Penettiere) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson). Juliette is finally back on her feet after recovering fro her plane crash but is she back too soon, plus her jealousy gets the best of her when Avery begins working with her newly discovered artist on a new music project.

Check out a sneak peek below and catch new episodes beginning June 1 on CMT.
