Video: Howie Mandel talks first live show on ‘America’s Got Talent’

“America’s Got Talent” has selected the Top 36 acts to compete for the $1 million grand prize. The Season 12 live performance shows take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The Top 36 are divided into groups of 12 to perform each week.The first 12 acts of the Top 36 took the stage to perform for America’s vote.



The first twelve contestants from the Semi-Final round included: Yoli Mayor, Billy & Emily England, Angelica Hale, The Singing Trump, Puddles Pity Party, Darci Lynne, Christian Guardino, In The Stairwell, Just Jerk, Preacher Lawson and Artyon & Paige.



On the live results show tonight, Wednesday, August 16, the seven acts who get the most views will move on to the next round, the five lowest vote getters will be eliminated from the competition.



We were on hand at the live shows and spoke with the judges and contestants after the performance show.
