The late tejano music superstar, Selena Quintanilla, is the latest figure to be honored with a Google doodle the mark the anniversary of her debut album “Selena.”
The special online tribute is set the music of her signature song “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.” In the animated tribute, Selena life is seen from her talent as a child to her rise to fame before her untimely death at the age of 23.

The 90 second Selena doodle will be on the Google homepage in the United States, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Paraguay, Uruguay, and India.
Selena’s doodle will be available past October 17 along with other past tributes at google.com/doodles.
