RuPaul heads to Daytime TV with Warner Bros Produced talk Show Pilot

RuPaul is set to sashay his way to Daytime TV. The Emmy winner and host of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars” will film a pilot for a Daytime talk show for Telepictures, as part of Warner Bros. Television, Variety reports.

The show is set for a Fall 2019 debut and will tape in front of a live studio audience. The format of the show will be celebrity interviews, beauty and glam tips, games and his colorful insight on pop culture.

The Daytime talk show circuit has had hits and misses of late with “The Chew,” Meredith Viera, Queen Latifah, and Harry all taking a tumble but RuPaul joins the production company behind “Ellen” and “The Real” so his show might take off.  Also, his previous venture on VH1 ran for two successful seasons.

The prolific host and producer also hosts the successful Drag Con Festival and will star in the upcoming “AJ and the Queen.”
