Comic Con 2018: Watch: ‘The Walking Dead’ official Season 9 trailer

Check out the official trailer for AMC’s “The Walking Dead” that the network released during their panel at Comic-Con 2018. During the panel, series star Andrew Lincoln confirmed his rumored exit from the show that has become a pop culture favorite.

Lincoln told the Hall H crowd during the panel that included Lincoln, new showrunner Angela Chang, Lauren Cohan, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. 

“I promised not to cry,” Lincoln continued. “I’ve done enough crying onscreen…This has been the most extraordinary, amazing, and beautiful experience of my career.” Lincoln also said that he would be taking a break from acting to spend more time with his family back in England.

The panel was moderated by interim “Talking Dead” host Yvette Nicole Brown.

“The Walking Dead” returns for Season 9 on Sunday, October 7 at 9:00 p.m. /8:00 p.m. C.
