In a new episode of WGN America’s “Carter,” the trio work together to get to the bottom of another suspicious death, in “The Farmhand Who Bought the Farm,” airing Tuesday, August 21 at 10:00 PM ET/9:00 PM CT. It’s Harley Carter’s (Jerry O’Connell) first day on the job when he learns the hard way how being a cop is much harder than playing one on TV. When a farmhand gets run over by a tractor, Harley has a hunch that it is more than just a routine farm accident. Meanwhile, when bikers and an exploded meth lab are added into the mix, Harley, Sam Shaw (Sydney Poitier Heartsong) and Dave Leigh (Kristian Bruun) make an odd discovery that connects the two cases.
“Carter” was created by Garry Campbell (“MADtv”) who developed it alongside writer John Tinker (“Chicago Hope”).
