Interview: Sonu Mishra of ‘Genuis: Picasso – Emmy Nominee For Outstanding Costume Design

This was a banner year for the cast and creative team of the Limited Series “Genius: Picasso.” The series, starring Antonio Banderas is nominated for Seven Emmy Awards, including Oustanding Costume Design for its Designer Sonu Mishra. 

Mishra, who was born and raised in India, also worked on “Genius: Picasso” and will soon work on the upcoming ‘Genius: Mary Shelley.” 

TVMusic Network caught up with Mishra at the “Art of Television Costume Design” Exhibition at FIDM over the weekend to get her thoughts on the nomination and about working on such a series with a well-known actor, playing a well-known figure.
