Hannahlei Cabanilla, an 18-year-old dancer from California, won the title of America’s favorite dancer for the 15th season of So You Think You Can Dance during the season finale on September 10.

Cabanilla won US$250,000 in cash, a guest role in Fox’s adaptation of the musical Rent, which will be broadcast in 2019 and will appear on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine.

Cabanilla, a contemporary dancer beat finalists Jensen Arnold (second place), Genessy Castillo (third) and Slavik Pustovoytov (fourth).

TVMusic Network was on hand for the finale and spoke with Cabanilla backstage after the show.
