Video: Mary Murphy talks Season 15 finale of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

So You Think You Can Dance Season 15 came to a season end when Hannahlei Cabanilla was named the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Cabanilla, 18, from Anaheim Hills, CA, received the most votes and danced off with the cash prize of $250,000, the cover of Dance Spirit magazine, the title of America’s Favorite Dancer and a role in the upcoming live musical RENT airing on Sunday, January 27, 2019.



The two-hour season finale included a performance by global pop sensation Now United, as well as a performance featuring the returning Top 10 finalists, choreographed by Emmy Award winner Mandy Moore.



Cabanilla also will join the rest of the Top 10 and All-Stars Lauren Froderman and Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer for the So You Think You Can Dance Live! 2018 tour which kicks off Saturday, October 13 in Atlantic City, NJ, at Ocean Resort Casino. 



The tour features the Top 10 contestants from Season 15, which include: Jensen Arnold, Hannahlei Cabanilla, Genessy Castillo, Evan DeBenedetto, Jay Jay Dixonbey, Magdalena Fialek, Darius Hickman, Chelsea Hough,Cole Mills and Slavik Pustovoytov, plus All-Stars Lauren Froderman and Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer.
