Taylor Swift will open the 2018 American Music Awards

Taylor Swift will be performing on the 2018 American Music Awards. The singer will perform “I Did Something Bad” from her new album “Reputation.” Swift is set to take the stage on the heels of her record-breaking Taylor Swift reputation Stadium Tour in support of the chart-topping and critically acclaimed album of the same name, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking her fifth leader on the chart. She is nominated for Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock and Favorite Album – Pop/Rock.

The show, hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross will take place live, October 9 in Los Angeles. 

 

Other performances include Cardi B (with Bad Bunny and J Balvin), Halsey, Khalid, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Post Malone featuring Ty Dolla Sign, Ciara, Missy Elliott, Dua Lipa and Panic at the Disco, who will pay tribute to Queen. 


American Music Award winners are voted entirely by the fans.
