‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s’ Rachel Brosnahan to Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

Saturday Night Live” kicks off 2019 marvelously. Emmy and two-time Golden Globe Award winner Rachel Brosnahan will make her “Saturday Night Live” debut when she hosts the first telecast of the new year on January 19. 

Brosnahan stars in the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Brosnahan received a Golden Globe Award this weekend for her role as Midge Maisel. 

Greta Van Fleet will make their debut as musical guest. The band recently received four 2019 Grammy Award nominations and their first full-length studio album, “Anthem of the Peaceful Army,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Rock chart.

“SNL” will also have a live show on Jan. 26 with the host and music to be announced.

“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels and airs on NBC.
