Superstars Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are all set to return as coaches for the upcoming 17th season of the four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice.” Carson Daly also returns as host.
The current season continues with the Top 8 performance show on Monday, May 13 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT). The Top 8 artists perform in front of the coaches for America’s vote, and in a “Voice” first, the Top 8 will pair up to perform duets on songs from the Beatles, history’s most celebrated band. The Top 4 finalists will be revealed on the live show airing Tuesday, May 14 (9-10 p.m.).
The Top 8 of Season 16 are Rod Stokes of Team Kelly, Maelyn Jarmon, Shawn Sounds of Team Legend and Gyth Rigdon, Kim Cherry, Carter Lloyd Horne, Dexter Roberts, Andrew Sevener of Team Blake. Adam Levine’s team has been eliminated.
“The Voice” is a presentation of MGM Television, Talpa Media USA Inc., Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with John de Mol, Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson and Stijn Bakkers.
